A group called the Center for Public Opinion and Awareness, or CenPOA, is asking the government to stop charging money for people who want to join Ghana's security forces.
This applies to agencies like the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service.
CenPOA stated that charging these fees has been a practice for many years.
The group issued a press release explaining their position.
They believe that making people pay to apply for jobs in security forces is unfair.
