Sulemana Braimah, Executive Director of the Media Foundation for West Africa, has raised concerns about the government's use of sole-sourced contracts.
He indicated that the effectiveness of the government's commitment to stopping the abuse of these contracts will become clear soon.
Braimah highlighted that the misuse of state resources through such contracting methods is a significant problem.
He suggested that the public will soon see whether the administration is adhering to its stated policy on procurement.
