Sulemana Braimah, head of the Media Foundation for West Africa, has raised concerns about government contracts. He stated that the upcoming days are important to see if the Maama administration is keeping its promise.

The promise is about stopping the misuse of sole-sourced and restrictive tendering processes. This means contracts awarded to only one company without competition.

Braimah believes that such practices amount to a significant misuse of public resources. He suggested that how these contracts are handled will reveal the government's commitment.
