The Bank of Ghana has successfully reduced inflation through a major financial operation. Governor Johnson Pandit Asiama stated that GH₵17 billion in liquidity management measures were put in place.

This effort targeted the nation's economic stability. It aimed to bring down the high rate of price increases.

Inflation stood at 23.8% in 2024. By February 2026, it had fallen to 3.3%.

The stabilization measures also helped to keep the Ghanaian cedi steady.

Additionally, the country's foreign reserves have seen an increase, according to Governor Asiama.
