The Bank of Ghana implemented liquidity management measures totaling GH₵17 billion. These actions were aimed at stabilising the economy.
Governor Johnson Pandit Asiama announced these measures have significantly reduced inflation. The inflation rate dropped from 23.8% in 2024 to 3.3% in February 2026.
These efforts also focused on strengthening the Ghanaian cedi. The currency experienced greater stability against major international currencies.
Additionally, the central bank's strategy helped to boost Ghana's foreign exchange reserves. This indicates improved financial health for the nation.
