The Bank of Ghana has successfully reduced inflation rates through significant liquidity management measures. Governor Johnson Pandit Asiama announced that GH₵17 billion was used in these stabilization efforts.

Inflation dropped from 23.8% recorded in 2024 to a low of 3.3% by February 2026. This marks a substantial achievement in controlling rising prices.

These measures also helped strengthen the Ghanaian cedi against other currencies. The stability of the local currency is crucial for economic confidence.

Furthermore, the bank reported an increase in the nation's foreign currency reserves. Higher reserves provide a buffer against economic shocks and improve international standing.
