Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has issued a warning to officials of the Ghana Gold Board, also known as GoldBod.
He stated that executives at GoldBod could face tougher bail conditions in the future.
Mr Afenyo-Markin made these remarks at a press conference on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
He suggested that the current bail terms applied to some former government officials might set a precedent.
The Minority Leader implied that future bail requirements could be more stringent for GoldBod executives.
He indicated that their turn for such scrutiny would come.
