A special committee looking into the Adamus Resources mining lease has found serious problems. The committee was asked by the Minister of Lands and Natural Resources to review the company's situation.

They discovered that Adamus Resources owes GH¢205 million. This is money the company should have paid.

The review also found unclear details about gold shipments. This means it is hard to know if the correct amount of gold was sent out of the country.

These findings suggest that the state may have lost money because of how Adamus Resources operated.

The committee was formed after the government decided to cancel Adamus Resources' lease.

The Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, established the committee.

The committee's work aims to ensure that mining companies follow the rules and pay what they owe.

Further actions will be decided based on the committee's full report.
