A Chartered Accountant has called for the establishment of professorial positions within Ghana’s teaching hospitals.
The accountant, Mr. Gabriel Nyame, works at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.
He said that teaching hospitals are very important for the country’s health services and for training doctors and nurses.
Mr. Nyame believes creating professor roles would improve the quality of medical training and education.
He noted that these positions would further strengthen the hospitals’ role in delivering health care and training new health professionals.
These professors would contribute to both patient care and the advancement of medical knowledge in Ghana.
The proposal aims to enhance the academic standing and practical training offered at these critical health institutions.
This initiative seeks to elevate the standards of medical professionals graduating from Ghana’s teaching hospitals.
