A man identified as 'Master One' has died while in police custody in Wa. He was a key suspect in the murder of a youth in the area.
The Ghana Police Service stated that 'Master One' had been on their wanted list since May 11, 2026. He had reportedly fled into hiding after escaping an earlier arrest attempt.
Police had appealed for his surrender through the Paramount Chief of Wechau and his elders. However, the suspect did not report himself.
