Police in Takoradi have arrested two men on suspicion of engaging in armed robbery. The arrests were made by the Western Regional police command.
Authorities said a locally manufactured pistol was recovered from the suspects. An AK-47 rifle was also allegedly found during the operation.
The suspects are believed to be involved in recent armed robbery incidents in the Takoradi area.
The police are continuing their investigations into the suspects activities.
