Nigeria has reported that two of its citizens have died in South Africa. This happened at a time when foreigners are being targeted.

The Nigerian foreign ministry stated that Emeka Charles Iroegbu was killed on June 28. He was reportedly killed by police officers who used bad interrogation techniques.

Another Nigerian citizen, Musa Yunana Joe, also died. He was a shop owner who was killed by unidentified attackers.
