Two prominent figures in Ghana's financial sector have been brutally murdered in separate incidents, raising serious concerns about the safety of key personnel and potential links to ongoing national exercises.

The Deputy Managing Director in charge of Operations at GCB Bank, Roko Frimpong, was reportedly killed at his home by three armed assailants. In a disturbingly similar fashion, the Head of Security at the Bank of Ghana also met his demise in his residence. Reports suggest these killings may be connected to opposition against the recent redenomination exercise.
