Police have arrested two people believed to be involved in a robbery. The arrests were made by the Ashanti Regional Police Command.

The suspects, identified as Kwasi Agyei and Kofi Mensah, were apprehended in connection with an incident in Obuasi.

They are alleged to have robbed Chinese nationals using a firearm. This is according to a police statement.

The stolen items reportedly included GH₵55,000 in cash. Also taken were mobile phones and a laptop.
