Police in Offinso North have arrested two individuals. They are suspected of being involved in the death of an Assemblyman.
The deceased is Eric Amponsah. He was the Assemblyman for the Akumadan electoral area.
Mr Amponsah’s body was found in his room. This led to the immediate launch of an investigation by the Ghana Police Service.
The arrests were made shortly after the discovery of the body. Authorities are questioning the two suspects.
