Police have arrested three people in connection with murders and assaults in Gbiniyiri. The arrests were made in the Savannah Region.
The IGP's Special Intelligence Team worked with the Savannah Regional Police Command to make the arrests.
The individuals detained are Yaw Bamuah, Yaa Bokaa, and Kuma Simpor. They were arrested on March 14, 2026.
During questioning, Yaw Bamuah admitted to being involved in the crimes, according to a police statement.
The investigation into the details of the alleged murders and assaults is ongoing.
