Three people have been arrested in the Savannah Region. They are suspected of being involved in murders and assaults in Gbiniyiri.
The arrests were made on March 14, 2026. This was a joint operation by the IGP's Special Intelligence Team and the Savannah Regional Police Command.
Police have identified the suspects as Yaw Bamuah, Yaa Bokaa, and Kuma Simpor.
The arrests are connected to incidents of murder and causing harm in the Gbiniyiri area.
During police interrogation, one suspect, Yaw Bamuah, reportedly confessed to being involved.
The Ghana Police Service is continuing its investigation into the matter.
