Police in the Bono East Region have arrested three men in connection with the killing of the queen mother of Abamba. The victim was identified as Nana Serwaa Asaamaa Kuma Gyan.
The incident occurred near Amantin in the Atebubu area. The Bono East Regional Police Command confirmed the arrests in a press release.
The release stated that the arrests were made following an intelligence-led operation. This means police acted on information they received.
The suspects taken into custody have been named as Rafiu Haruna and Mufawu Adamu. Further details about their connection to the crime are expected.
