Three people have been arrested in the Savannah Region. The arrests are related to murders and assaults that happened in Gbiniyiri.
The IGP’s Special Intelligence Team and the Savannah Regional Police Command worked together. They made the arrests on March 14, 2026.
The arrested individuals are Yaw Bamuah, Yaa Bokaa, and Kuma Simpor. They are suspected of carrying out violent acts.
During questioning, Yaw Bamuah admitted to being involved in the crimes. Information provided by the Ghana Police Service indicates further investigation is ongoing.
