Police in Koforidua have arrested a 28-year-old taxi driver. He is suspected in the death of his 26-year-old girlfriend.
The victim was discovered dead in her room on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Visible injuries were noted on her body.
The Ghana Police Service confirmed the arrest. The taxi driver was taken into custody for questioning.
Detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman's death.
The Koforidua District Police are leading the inquiry.
