The Ghana Police Service has arrested a 32-year-old man, Abraham Awendok. He is suspected of killing Dr Jesse Amuah and his wife, Mrs Elizabeth Esi Amuah.
The couple was reported missing in April 2026. Investigations into their disappearance led to the arrest of Mr Awendok.
The Inspector General of Police Christian Tetteh Yohunu confirmed the arrest. He stated that the suspect has allegedly confessed to the crime.
