A soldier has been remanded in police custody by the Ashaiman District Court. WOII Dzisenu Ben, aged 43, is accused of murder.
The alleged victim is 45-year-old Abdul Shaban. The incident reportedly took place at Mawugbedzibe near Afienya.
WOII Dzisenu faces a charge of murder under the Criminal Offences Act. His plea was not taken during the court appearance.
The court ordered that the soldier remain in police custody. Further investigation into the matter is expected.
