A 36-year-old man has been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment with hard labour by the Odumase Krobo Circuit Court for defiling a 12-year-old girl. The incident occurred in Somanya, located in the Eastern Region.
The accused, identified as Joseph Nyarko, also known as Joseph Nartey, was found guilty of the offense. Court proceedings confirmed his HIV-positive status. The sentence was handed down following a thorough trial.
