Police have reported that a suspected armed robber was killed in a shootout in East Legon, Accra. The incident occurred when police officers on patrol encountered a group of suspected robbers.
An exchange of gunfire ensued between the police and the suspects.
During the shootout, one suspect sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. The Ghana Police Service is conducting further investigations into the matter.
