Police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of a couple who went missing in April 2026. The Ghana Police Service announced the arrest as part of their ongoing investigations.
The couple disappeared earlier this year. Investigations led police to identify and apprehend a suspect believed to be involved in their deaths.
In a separate case, police have identified the person they believe was the main planner of a robbery and murder at the Buipe Cattle Market. This suspect died during a police operation.
These developments are part of seven major successes announced by the Ghana Police Service. The police service did not provide further details on the other breakthroughs.
The Buipe Cattle Market incident involved a robbery and a subsequent murder. Police engaged in an operation where the identified mastermind was killed.
The police service stated these actions demonstrate their commitment to tackling crime across the country. Further details are expected as investigations continue.
