Police in Accra have arrested four men. They work for a microfinance company called Bills Microfinance. The arrests were made by the Kwabenya District Police Command.
This action follows a report from a resident. The woman stated she was assaulted. She identified the suspects as employees of the microfinance company.
The complainant is Madam Hagar Emaser. She is 42 years old. Madam Emaser lodged her complaint with the police on March 13.
The alleged assault took place at Ashongman Estate in Accra. The police are investigating the details of the incident.
The arrested men are currently in police custody. They will assist with the ongoing investigation.
