Police and military forces carried out an operation in the Binduri District. This action was taken due to recent shooting incidents and other crimes involving firearms.
The operation was based on intelligence gathered by the Upper East Regional Police Command.
During the operation, a 32-year-old man identified as Isaka Sabani, also known as Culture, sustained injuries.
Authorities recovered an AK-47 rifle and 28 live ammunition rounds at the scene.
