An Accra Circuit Court has ordered the remand of Kwabena Osei, 40, for one week. This follows a charge that he allegedly caused the death of another man.
The incident is said to have occurred last Saturday at Kaneshie. A physical fight between the two men led to the victim sustaining injuries.
The victim later died as a result of the injuries he suffered during the brawl. Details of the altercation were presented to the court.
A court filing indicates that Mr. Osei is accused of causing the death during the ensuing fight.
The court's decision to remand Mr. Osei is to allow for further investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death.
He is expected to reappear in court next week. The Ghana Police Service is continuing its investigation into the matter.
