A man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for defiling a child. Joseph Kojo Mensah, 35, was found guilty of the crime.
The incident happened in Nungua. An 8-year-old girl was the victim.
The Accra High Court delivered the sentence. It included hard labour.
Mensah was convicted after the court heard the case. He was found responsible for the defilement.
