Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested a man suspected of possessing human remains and items used for rituals. The arrest took place in the Ahenema Kokoben area of Kumasi.
The suspect, identified as 35-year-old Kwabena Agyemang, was apprehended following an operation based on intelligence received by the police.
During the arrest, officers discovered a human skeleton in the suspect's possession.
In addition to the skeleton, police also recovered several other items believed to be connected to ritualistic practices.
The Ghana Police Service stated that the arrested individual is cooperating with ongoing investigations.
