A man has been arrested in the Volta Region by the Ghana Police Service. The arrest is related to the death of his infant son.
The suspect is 32-year-old Kwesi Asante. He was taken into custody by police officers on Friday, May 22, 2026.
The victim was six months old. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the baby's death.
Reports from the scene suggest a kitchen knife may have been used in the alleged attack.
The Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
Mr. Asante is currently assisting the police with their inquiries.
