A 28-year-old man named Yaw Antwi is in police custody. He is accused of killing his friend, Akwasi Boateng.
The Ghana Police Service confirmed the arrest. The incident happened at Ejisu Adako, near Brempon in the Ashanti Region.
Reports indicate the altercation began over a mobile phone recharge card worth GH¢5.
Following the dispute, Antwi allegedly stabbed Boateng.
Boateng later died from his injuries.
Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
Antwi has been remanded in police custody. He will appear in court at a later date.
