An elderly woman is in critical condition after an alleged assault in Kumasi.
The victim is 80 years old. She was reportedly attacked by her grandson at their home.
The incident happened a day before the publication date.
Police statement indicates the grandson allegedly attacked the woman after she accused him of stealing GH¢2,000.
The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for the grandson.
The condition of the woman is critical.
