A young man is reported to have undergone an alleged 'unofficial military training session' after being apprehended for stealing gold-bearing sand from a galamsey site. The incident involved load endurance drills and corporal punishment.
The owner of the galamsey site reportedly caught the individual attempting to abscond with two loads of sand suspected to contain gold. The subsequent 'training' was administered on-site by the owner.
