A special military task force has arrested four individuals in the Western Region. They were allegedly engaged in illegal mining activities.
The operation took place on June 5, 2026. The military team was deployed to combat illegal mining known as galamsey.
Suspected illegal mining equipment was seized from the site during the arrest.
The identities of the arrested individuals have not yet been released by authorities.
