Police in the Eastern Region have arrested four people. They are suspected of involvement in the murder of Isaac Agidi. Mr. Agidi was the NPP Constituency Chairman for Asuogyaman.
The chairman was reportedly shot dead at his home on Friday, May 22, 2026. The incident occurred in Koforidua.
The Eastern Regional Police Command confirmed the arrests. Investigations into the death are ongoing.
The motive for the killing is not yet clear. Police have not released further details about the suspects.
