Police in the Central North Region have arrested four individuals. They are suspected of being part of a criminal group.
The group allegedly kidnapped a man. They also tortured him and tried to get money from him.
The victim, identified as Bismarck Amo, is 30 years old. He was rescued by the police.
The arrests followed an operation based on intelligence gathered by the police.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the syndicate's activities.
