Two VIP Jeoun buses were attacked by armed robbers. Five people were hurt in the assaults.
The first attack took place around 11 PM on Wednesday. It happened on the Accra-Kumasi Highway between Apedwa Junction and Bunso.
The second bus was attacked later. This happened on the road between Techiman and Tuobodom in the Bono region.
The company stated that the robbers used weapons during the attacks. Details about what was stolen have not been released.
The Ghana Police Service has been informed. Investigations are underway to find the attackers.
