Police in Accra have arrested two individuals suspected of planning to kidnap an elderly woman. The incident occurred in the Dansoman area.
The neighbours noticed suspicious behaviour and immediately contacted the Ghana Police Service.
Their quick action prevented the alleged crime from taking place.
The elderly woman is safe and has been reunited with her family.
The two suspects are currently being held for questioning as investigations continue.
