A 70-year-old woman has been arrested in the Northern Region. This followed accusations by some residents that she practiced witchcraft.
Community leaders took the woman into custody. They later handed her over to the police.
Residents who made the accusations claim the elderly woman caused misfortunes in the area.
The Ghana Police Service is investigating the matter.
