A driver is being held by the Ofankor Circuit Court. He is accused of kidnapping the younger brother of the NPP parliamentary candidate for Okaikoi North.
The alleged kidnapping happened recently. The victim is the brother of a candidate hoping to be elected to parliament.
The court heard that the accused demanded a large sum of money for the victim to be freed. This amount was reported as GH₵100,000.
