A civilian is in serious condition after an alleged machete attack. The incident occurred in the Ahafo Region.
The victim, Opoku Afriyie, was taken to the Asutifi North District Hospital. He is a resident of Kenyasi No. 2 and works as a sound system operator.
Two prison officers and three inmates are accused of the attack. They are from the Kenyasi Settlement Camp Prison.
The Ghana Police Service is investigating the incident.
