Three armed robbers died Tuesday morning after attempting to rob a bullion van. The incident occurred near COP Junction at Alhaji Moshie by-pass.
The robbers were shot and killed by police who were escorting the van. They were trying to steal an unknown amount of money.
A police commando was also killed during the exchange of gunfire. The attack happened around 9:30 am, a busy time of day.
Authorities have confirmed the deaths of the four individuals. Investigations into the incident are underway.
