Personnel from NAIMOS have reportedly assaulted members of the Manso Nkwanta Blue Guards following a dispute over seized illegal mining equipment. The incident occurred in the Manso Adubia area.
Reports suggest the Blue Guards had confiscated galamsey equipment belonging to an illegal miner. Subsequently, NAIMOS personnel allegedly intervened, leading to the physical confrontation. The Blue Guards have reportedly been taken to Accra following the incident.
