Police in the Ashanti South region shot and killed two men. They were suspected of being armed robbers.

The men were part of a group believed to be robbing people on the Obuasi-Dunkwa Highway. The police said they acted to stop the gang.

During the operation, police also arrested other suspected members of the robbery group. A Toyota Saloon car was seized. Police also found guns and ammunition.
