Two suspected armed robbers have been killed by police in the Ashanti South region. The incident occurred during an operation focusing on a gang active on the Obuasi-Dunkwa Highway.

The Ashanti South Police Command confirmed the killings and stated that other members of the suspected gang were arrested.

Authorities also seized a Toyota saloon car. Several guns and ammunition were recovered from the suspects.

The Regional Commander, DCOP Joseph Hammond Nyaabah, announced these details. The announcement was made at a media briefing held in Bekwai.
