Two suspected armed robbers were shot and killed by the Ashanti South Police. This happened during an operation along the Obuasi-Dunkwa Highway.
The police also arrested some other individuals believed to be part of the robbery gang.
Authorities seized a Toyota saloon car during the operation.
Guns and ammunition were also recovered by the police command.
Regional Commander DCOP Joseph Hammond Nyaabah shared these details at a news briefing in Bekwai.
