The Ashanti South Police Command has killed two suspected armed robbers during an operation along the Obuasi-Dunkwa Highway. The police were responding to gang activity in the area. This action occurred on March 10, 2026.

The Command reported that other suspected robbers were arrested as part of the operation. A Toyota saloon car was also seized from the suspects.

Guns and ammunition were recovered by the police. These items are believed to be linked to the criminal activities of the arrested individuals.
