Police in Ashanti South have killed two individuals suspected of armed robbery. The incident occurred on the Obuasi-Dunkwa Highway.

A gang of robbers was reportedly operating in the area. The police engaged the suspects, resulting in the deaths of two of them.

During the operation, police also arrested several other suspected robbers. These arrests were made in connection with ongoing criminal activities.

Authorities seized a Toyota saloon car from the suspects. Guns and ammunition were also recovered.

The Ashanti South Regional Commander, DCOP Joseph Hammond Nyaabah, briefed the media on the development. This briefing took place in Bekwai.
