Police in the Ashanti South Region have killed two suspected armed robbers. The incident happened along the Obuasi-Dunkwa Highway.
The deceased were part of a gang believed to be involved in criminal activities on the road.
The Ashanti South Police Command also apprehended some other individuals suspected to be part of the robbery group.
Authorities seized a Toyota Saloon car, several guns, and ammunition from the suspects.
This operation took place following a period of increased robbery activity on the highway.
Regional Commander DCOP Joseph Hammond Nyaabah announced the development at a media briefing in Bekwai.
